The team at Planet Argon introduces the survey for people who deploy Ruby on Rails applications! That’s right, we’ve decided to collect, organize, and share valuable information about how people are managing their deployment process.
We invite anyone who is involved in the deployment management of Ruby on Rails applications to participate in the Rails Hosting in 2009
survey, which will be close on February 1st. Sometime thereafter we will publish the results, along with the anonymous raw data, for use by everyone in the community—including our competitors. Here at Planet Argon, it is our mission to strengthen and improve our hosting-related products and deployment
services based on real feedback from the trenches. So please, if you have a few minutes to spare, take our survey and help us take a giant step into future of Ruby on Rails hosting.

As Executive Director, Robby focuses his day-to-day energy on making PLANET ARGON a leader in innovative Ruby on Rails solutions. With a focus on community and creativity, Robby works with our design and development team to provide an individualized process for every client. Robby was pleased, then, to accept an invitation from Nathaniel Talbot to join a panel session at RailsConf 2007 (US), with Justin Gehtland, Geoffrey Grosenbach, Andre Lewis and Joe O’Brien. The session is on The Business of Rails; these Rails business greats will answer questions from the moderators and audience about just how they have made Rails and business a successful pairing. Go see Robby in action at The Business of Rails panel session or contact us at PLANET ARGON to find out how Robby and our team can make your web presence out of this world.

Robby and his Rails expertise are highlighted in a CRN breaking news post about the addition of REST to the recently released Ruby on Rails 1.2. A big benefit to using REST is the increase in efficiency and productivity during development. As Robby points out, REST also helps by easing connection problems between applications developed in Rails with those written in other programming languages. Ruby on Rails continues to grow and improve, and so does the PLANET ARGON team. Contact us today to find out how our Design and Development team can add value to your next web application.
