Dear Portland non-profits, we'd like to help

Reading time: Less than a minute

Dear Non-Profits in the Portland metro area,

Do you have a web site/application that highlights your organization’s mission and provides a way for individuals and organizations to a) learn more about you? b) donate c) volunteer, etc.? Do you have a gut feeling that something isn’t working, but you don’t know what exactly you’d change? Is it constantly on your “I’ll get around to looking at that again someday… maybe” list?

We are budgeting time between now and the end of the year to help our local community out more. We’ll be volunteering some time to do manual labor for some organizations, but we’d also like to offer our design and technical expertise to a few of you. We believe that we can offer assistance to two different organizations each month for the next three months.

If you have a web site/application and want to better define your strategy, you should apply to be selected by our team. We’ll be voting (as a team) on each of those slots and if your organization is chosen, you will receive a comprehensive web audit and assessment. We’ll take stock of your current situation… and give you some honest feedback on what we believe is/isn’t working. This will all be packaged up into a document that you can distribute amongst your colleagues and board of directors. Upon delivery, we’ll invite you over for a hosted lunch at our studio. We’ll talk through the findings in the report and answer any questions that you might have.

If you are a local non-profit and would like to be put into the selection bucket, you can apply here. We’ll be selecting our first organization in about a week.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
